gateways for the modular systems in the Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Espanola,

Office of the Courts 2002-2004 |
| The Video Arraignment Project Phase One connected Magistrate
Courts to the Detention centers. Point
to point T-1’s were used in many sites as well as direct fiber optic and
copper connections. Part one
was visiting each court and detention center to assess the electrical and
communication needs. A
proposal was established. Because
we have staff members cross-trained in both electrical and telecom we were
able to send one crew throughout the rollout to install both.
This team provided a consistent install throughout the project.
Thirteen Courts and ten detention centers were included in this
phase from Taos to Espanola and Roswell to Silver City and all point
between. We had coordinate
our work with Qwest for the T-1 extension and the Video Vender to insure
that each phase of the rollout was on time to the other parties involved
in the project. |
